The Cause

There is a big population of unskilled labor in Haiti and without proper training; local Haitians are unable to find work in construction.

The Project

Kay Vision Group is a construction company started by Leopaul Montes and Serge Aime in Haiti and they have been able to employ some local Haitians to perform labor. However, they lack trade skills in carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical, tile laying and drywall hanging. The Haiti construction trade trip came about to provide on-site training for local Haitians to become masters of their trade, teach others, find work opportunities and begin to break the cycle of poverty.
